we are really thankful to Allah for this pleasant surprise. never in our wildest dreams could we get so lucky. we were first time applicants. only 320 five-room units were offered. it was more than seven times oversubscribed. we tried to apply, just to ‘test’ it out.
with my work just 3 bus stops away. his work a short 15 mins drive. my parents place along the same avenue (1.2 km, 15 mins walk, 5 minutes drive) from our new home. a quick turn to the expressway to go to his place in bukit panjang. his close friends’ (our *ahems* madam matchmaker) place right across the road. the ghufran mosque a short 10 mins walk. tampines mall, century square, tampines 1 & tampines MRT within walking distance. Giant for our grocery a short drive away. in short, this is the perfect spot 
it cant possibly get any better, can it? we are indeed truly blessed
