today was our first impromptu speech assesment for an english module.
steps are seemingly simple. your name is called, you pick a topic from the box, given 2 minutes to prepare, and give a 3 minutes speech. done.
the ones before me got topics such as

days in sg seem short. days in kl seem even shorter. it’s only sunday, yet i’m cringing. the thought of one class after another. short rest. and it starts all over again.
words against words. we feel pity. lessons learnt. on the bright side, i’m jolly well doing my counting.
